Fresh morning, fresh hopes, fresh
plans, fresh efforts, fresh success, fresh feelings: Good Morning.
I
read this up in an article: "Somebody has said there are only two kinds of
people in the world. There are those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good
morning, Lord," and there are
those who wake up in the morning and say, "Good
Lord, it's morning."
It
made me chuckle as much as it made me think. The first is out of appreciation.
It is an indication that another opportunity in life is given to them. It means
it is another day to go out, make impact and earn results. It is another day
for change. It’s another time for God’s word to come through. However, the
second group voices agitation; caused by factors of everyday living such as:
unfinished assignments being carried out against time; panic; a demand
portraying one’s incapability; emotional stress; frustration; fatigue and a
desperate need for rest. Every such reason may be duly accommodated as sound.
Such is the life of a human being.
Note
this: Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary
power may be from God and not from us. We are pressured in every way but not
crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair; we are persecuted but not
abandoned; we are struck down but not destroyed - 2 Corinthians 4:7-9, HCSB
I bring you encouragement this moment
that the demand on your strength, talents, time and energy each day is not to
kill you. Rise up to them knowing that Jesus has got your back so you can only
win in any situation, no matter what. Face it and give life to it!
